1856 Society members donate $1,856 to the Virginia Quilt Museum in recognition of the year that our home, the historic Warren-Sipe House, was built. Money raised by the 1856 Society supports the general operations of the museum and members are recognized with their names engraved on a plaque prominently displayed in the museum.
The 1856 Society is a wonderful way to preserve your legacy as a supporter of the Virginia Quilt Museum and as a quilting enthusiast. It is also a great way to honor or memorialize a quilter that has inspired you.
