A collaboration between the Virginia Quilt Museum and Patchwork Plus Evening Escapes offers you the chance to create a small hand project while enjoying dinner and the company of other stitchers in the lovely atmosphere of the Virginia Quilt Museum at the historic Silver Lake Mill. Each month will feature a different hand stitching technique ranging from English Paper Piecing to different embroidery stitches. Dinner provided by the Dayton Catering Co. and wine will be available for sale from Bluestone Vineyard. Dietary restrictions can be accommodated with advance notice, please list your dietary needs when registering.
The registration fee includes all of the supplies for that month's craft, dinner, water and tea. Wine will be sold separately on site.
Schedule for Evening Escapes
5:00 - 5:30 - Free time to visit the museum’s exhibit and gift shop
5:30 - 6:00 - Dinner will be ready at 5:30 and wine will be available for purchase
6:00 - 6:30 - Project overview and instruction
6:30 - 8:00 - Stitching time and more time to visit the exhibits and browse the museum gift shop
