In this class, students will learn the technique of foundation piecing. The miniature Log Cabin blocks will finish at 3” with strips of 1⁄4”. Don’t be intimidated by the small scale; students always report that it was much easier than they thought it would be. The class also includes information about printers/papers/other specialty materials and Electric Quilt software. There is also discussion about quilting/finishing techniques that work well with this size of blocks. Class length is approximately 3 hours, with a maximum of 12 students.
Supply list:
Foundations will be supplied. The product that I prefer is Foundation Stuff by George Siciliano, plenty of sample patterns will be provided.
