Teal Traces by Barb Hollinger

Barb Hollinger loves that quilting has allowed her to tie together her love of color, pattern and textiles with her engineering and mathematics background. She has had her quilts published in various articles and even had the opportunity to design quilts to accompany Jinny Beyer’s fabric collections. This exhibition demonstrates the range of quilts she has completed throughout her quilting journey. Barb does not typically work in series, but rather sees each quilt as a design challenge, trying to solve the puzzle of shape, balance, and process without repeating any styles.
